Applicability of busbar trunking systems
A busbar trunking system is a new type of conductor consisting of a metal enclosure, conductive bars, insulating materials, and related accessories.
Busbar trunking is a new type of conductor system composed of a metal enclosure, conductive busbars, insulating materials, and related accessories. It can be configured either as a plug-in enclosed busbar system, with tap-off boxes installed at regular intervals along its length, or as a feeder-type enclosed busbar system without intermediate tap-off boxes. Busbar trunking is widely used to distribute high power to various components in distributed systems and is increasingly replacing wires and cables in low-voltage power distribution trunking projects indoors.
