    WenlingKLD Resin-Encapsulated Busbar System

    Product Description

    Product Selection

    Example: KLD-T-T-2000A/5P: Cast-resin busbar, resin-encapsulated, copper busbar conductor, rated current 2000A, three-phase five-wire system.

    Scope of application

The resin-encapsulated, fully enclosed busbar system has a rated current ranging from 100A to 8000A, a rated frequency of 50–60Hz, a rated operating voltage of 380V, and a rated insulation voltage of 660V. Its enclosure boasts the highest protection rating of IP68, and it features fire resistance, water resistance, and corrosion resistance. Therefore, it can be widely used in:

    1. High-rise buildings where firefighting is difficult;

    2. Places with harsh working conditions, such as those involving explosion hazards or corrosive liquids;

    3. Outdoor areas, trenches, and other locations with high humidity or the potential for flooding.

    Product Features

    1. Resin-encapsulated fully enclosed busbar trunking systems shall use copper, aluminum, and copper-aluminum composite conductor materials with high electrical conductivity.

    2. The resin-encapsulated, fully enclosed busbar system uses a specially formulated composite resin mixed with precisely selected, quantitatively measured additives to create a high-performance insulating material that directly encapsulates and seals the copper busbars. There are no air gaps, no smoke and fume effects, and short circuits cannot be caused by burrs on the busbars or overloads.

    3. Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to corrosion by a wide variety of chemicals, allowing for long-term use in both indoor and outdoor polluted environments.

    4. Water Resistance: The enclosure has an IP68 protection rating, allowing it to operate continuously underwater. It can be directly laid in cable trenches (without the need for any additional protective devices) and can even be buried underground.

    5. Mechanical Performance: Able to withstand strong mechanical impacts, ensuring safe use.

    Install the attachment

Vertical mounting clamp and vertical mounting beam

When busbar trunking systems are installed vertically, vertical mounting clamps must be used. These clamps are suitable for busbar trunking systems of all current ratings.

Horizontally mounted pressure plate and horizontally mounted beam

When busbar trunking is installed horizontally, a horizontal mounting clamp must be used. It is suitable for busbar trunking of all current ratings. The dimensions of the horizontal mounting beam are related to the current rating in amperes.

    Note:

    1. All dimensions are in mm.

    2. All dimensions provided are for standard products. If you require custom product dimensions, please contact our engineers.

    3. The horizontal presser and side-mounted presser are provided by the factory.

    Middle fixed bracket

When busbar trunking is installed vertically on floors exceeding 3.5 meters in height, use intermediate fixing brackets. These intermediate fixing brackets are mounted on the walls between two floors to prevent horizontal movement of the busbar trunking and are suitable for busbar trunking of all current ratings.

    Note:

    1. L1 and L2 are customized based on different engineering requirements, while the remaining dimensions are used for standard products.

    Spring bracket

Spring supports must be used on each floor to support the weight of the vertically installed busbar trunking on that floor.

The spring bracket is connected to the busbar trunking system via bolts.

The number of spring supports varies depending on the amperage rating of the busbar trunking system. Please refer to Table 22-1.

    Minimum distance required for installation

Minimum distance reserved for installing the plug-in box

When busbar trunking is installed horizontally or vertically close to a wall, it is essential to reserve a certain dimension for the installation of plug-in boxes. Please refer to Table 24-1.

    Horizontal installation

    1. Horizontal wall-mounted installation

See the figure below for the dimensions of the pre-reserved holes for horizontal wall-mounted installation:

    2. Horizontal ceiling installation

When installing busbar ceiling supports, pre-drill holes in the floor slab and insert steel expansion bolts (or drill holes on-site for flexible installation) or embed steel components and weld lifting brackets on-site. The spacing between adjacent brackets should generally not exceed 2 meters; if there are special requirements, please specify them when placing your order.

There are two different forms for horizontal lifting of busbars, as shown in the figure below:

    3. Install horizontally along the wall

Please pay attention to the straightness of the mounting holes (i.e., ensure that all brackets are installed in a single horizontal plane). Refer to the illustration for the installation method.

Horizontal wall-mounted units come in both vertical and horizontal versions.

    Vertically installed

Refer to the drawing for the dimensions of the reserved openings for busbars installed vertically across floor levels. If two or more rows of busbars pass through, the spacing between any two adjacent rows of busbars must be no less than 350 mm.
    See the figure below:

    1. The main installation methods for spring supports are as follows:

    2. Busbar trunking systems installed in shafts should be reinforced at their midsections—generally when the distance between adjacent floors exceeds 3.5 meters or when the customer has special requirements. Angle steel and spring supports are two optional solutions.

    3. The terminals of the busbar trunking system also need to be reinforced, as shown in the figure below:

    4. The reinforcement of the terminal box can be accomplished through the following methods:
